Menagerie
A Graduating Students Exhibition for the CMU SoArch Class of '18

Curation
Menagerie highlights the incredible quality and diversity of work produced by the 2018 graduating class of the Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture. The exhibition was curated to exhibit architecture's unique social applications.
Curated around 8 themes, the space was organized to provide each with identity and footprint. Adjacency and overlap thus highlight the intersections and interconnected nature of architectural practice. The show featured a range of mediums, including looping projections, original furniture, architectural models, and many plots and drawings.

Menagerie opened for graduation weekend 2018 on the campus of Carnegie Mellon for students, their families, and professors. The opening included a screening of a feature-length film of student interviews produced for the event.
The interviews asked graduating students' definitions of architecture, and their views of its future. Asking students to reflect on their time in school, and look beyond it, these interviews capture their final thoughts as they enter the next phase of their lives. The film is publicly here.
